In our country, LIC is the most renowned companies that are known for the investment. It has 2048 branches and 109 divisional offices. Its value is calculated around $240 billion. LIC recruiting the graduates
Eligibility – LIC now offers an opportunity for the graduates to join their hands in the successful development of LIC. It has revealed the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) for 2013. The candidate should be the Indian citizen and their age should lies between 21 to 30 years on 1.3.2013. Age relaxation is also provided for the particular categories.
Educational qualification – Candidate should have completed Bachelor or Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University or Institution. They should posses at least 55% of marks in it. In case of the colleges providing grades, it is necessary to provide the equivalent numerical score for their grades.
Syllabus – AAO exam has objective questions with five sections. The five sections are reasoning ability, numerical ability, computer knowledge, test of English language and finally general knowledge. Totally you have to answer 160 questions and each section consists of 30 questions, except English which contains 40.
Total questions -> 160
Total marks -> 400
Time duration -> 2 hours
Note 1: There will be 0.25 mark deduction for every wrong answer.
Note 2: It is estimated to be conducted on 11.5.2013 or 12.5.13. The candidates are allowed to choose the exam dates according to their comfort level.
It is necessary to score minimum marks in each section to clear the exam successfully. The students who are clearing the written exams will be called for interview.
Training – Pre examination training is also available for the SC and ST students. This will be offered in the within the campus of LIC itself. They give prior intimation to the candidates through mails and information is also updated in the LIC website itself. You have to keep track of the website under “career” option to know the recent updates.
Selection process – The candidates who have scored aggregate marks in the written exam will be called for the personal interview. Those candidates will also be subjected to the medical examination to check whether they are physically fit or not. For the candidates who receiving physical fitness certificates will be offered with the appointment order.
